It depends, based on what mythology your reading, in Roman Mythology the seven muses were his daughters, the mother was the goddess of memories, in other cultures it was the 3 muses being the Muse of all Music and Melody, The Muse of all writing and poetry, and The Muse of all Actions and Decisions, but as I said, this depends upon which culture your looking at, like in some forms of mythology and biblical writings, "Lucifer" was not referred to as "The Devil" or "Satan", he was the "Morning Star" or "Lightbearer", portrayed as a savour rather than the fallen angel, but then in Catholicism and Christianity "The Morning Star (Satan)" was always and will always be the sinner and defiant "Damned Soul"... the Devil. BE MORE SPECIFIC!!!
