In a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu, the engine may stall when the AC is on and the vehicle is put in gear due to a few potential issues. One common cause could be a weak or failing idle air control valve, which struggles to maintain the necessary idle speed under increased load from the AC. Additionally, if the engine's fuel system is not delivering enough fuel or if there are vacuum leaks, these factors could contribute to stalling as well. Lastly, a weak battery or failing alternator might not provide sufficient power to support both the AC and engine demands.
That would depend on the year and engine size. If you do not see a distributor then it is distributorless ignition.
It depends on the engine size. Most are located on the intake manifold.
You would need to call a parts house and they can answer that for you.
You do not get rid of the speed limiter. It is in the engine control computer and you would have to have it reprogrammed.
That would depend on which model year of Chevrolet Malibu ( both rear wheel drive and front wheel drive versions have been made )
does my 1996 pontiac ga stall out in park
Your timing could be off.
Unless you have a scanner or the equalivant then you think you reset it when in reality you have only had to reset the clock.

The coldness
The model year would help. Chevrolet has been building the Malibu from 1964 to 1983 and then again from 1997 to present.
Well we just got back from doing a round trip from Reno to Oakland. We filled up 12.24 gallons and arrived back with 450 miles. That sums it up to being about 36 mpg. We never did over 70 mph and cruised around 65 mph. This coming from a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu Classic (with the ecotec 2.2L engine) You did not say the year or size of the engine which would be helpful.
