The Belgium Browning 20 gauge shotgun with a serial number starting with "C" was likely manufactured in the early 1960s. Specifically, serial numbers in the "C" range were produced from approximately 1960 to 1962. For an exact year, you would need to reference Browning's serial number charts or consult a firearms expert.
You will have to call Browning with the serial number.
Most Browning guns were made in Belgium by Fabrique Nationale (FN) until the mid 1970s when some production was shifted to Miroku in Japan. Today's Browning firearms are made in either Belgium, Portugal, Japan or in the United States.
By the serial number and guage
You did not give us the model, so we will refer you to the Browning site that decodes the serial number for your model. http://www.browning.com/support/date-your-firearm.html
Not a valid Browning serial number.
You did not provide a serial number. You will have to call Browning.
Need model and guage to answer this question
Impossible to value with only the serial number.
All Brownings have serial numbers.
By this serial number, it is not a Belgian made gun. You have an "American Browning". These guns were made by Reminton in the US under contract with Browning during the German occupation of Belgium. They were marked as Brownings and do not say Remington anywhere on it. Your serial number is on the left side of the receiver. When Remington started production, they started with serial number 5000 as the first gun produced for each guage. "B" denotes 12ga. Your gun is #11,120 (12ga) made by Remington which indicates it was made in 1945. auto5man
Which guage? 12ga was made in 1926 16ga was made in 1930
You did not give the sn. Call Browning.
