I know what you're thinking;'I'll just go to a pet store'. Please don't! Pet stores often sell gerbils that have genetic deficiencies and some places (not all) mistreat them and don't provide them with proper care. They might even sell them with the intentions of selling them for snake food! The best bet for the best pet is to go to a breeder like myself. They can track the genetic history of gerbils to genetically healthy parents, and possibly grandparents. They take good care of them and have a good, steady supply. You can go to Google and type in 'gerbil breeders' and you are sure to find some breeder's websites. Also, the gerbil forum has a list of member websites, most of them belonging to breeders. To get to the gerbil forum, just type in 'the gerbil forum' on Google. Best of luck!
