Lots of places! Go online and look for breeders in your state or city. Many people breed Nigerian Dwarves and I'm sure you will find a farm somewhere.
Nigerian goats are mostly used for showing. They are also mainly used as pets.
yes from a special breeder :)
They are delicious, but a little gamey
Pygmy and miniature goats are available to buy in New Zealand, largely from dairy goat breeders and similar organizations. A popular miniature goat in the area is the Nigerian dwarf goat.
Pygmy, Nigerian Dwarf, and Boer
well, pygmy goats are bigger boned than nigerians, appox. the same size i had both they are the nicest goats, Nigerian are rare though and expensive, not pygmys though, nigerians are dairy goats and pygmys are meat goats questions email me at goldenchampusa@AOL.com
the males can be mean but most of these goats are the most amazing pets there great !
Not at all they arequiet little goats. I have 8 and love them from a breeders point of view. I can sell my females for $250 dollars easily and males for $200 dollars!! Strongly recommended Much better than fat little homely Pygmy's. My friend has a pygmy that climbs fences and is a really bad kidder.Go Pygmy's NIGERIAN DWARF GOATS!
They natively have come from Europe. Nigerian Dwarf goats came from Africa.
A Nigerian Dwarf goat is between 17" and 21" at the shoulder when grown. They are primarily used as a dairy breed, and produce large amounts of milk for their size. ND goats are fairly tame by nature, and will become very tame with a small amount of effort. Some breeders bottle feed all kids to maintain a very tame herd. A tame nature is common in dairy breeds, as goats must be handled daily when collecting milk. This trait has been selectively bred into Nigerian Dwarf goats. There is no such thing as an African weather goat. A whether is a male goat that has been castrated. There are many different types of African goats. The smallest goat is the Nigerian dwarf.
