Why do Ameircans live in America, the word aztec is wrong they never called themselfs Aztecs, but Mexicans, they lived in Mexico because that is what they called the land they founded their city, it means the land where the moon is reflected in the lake, and the city was founded as Mexico Tenochtitialn, the Spanish only called it Mexico, and the people that lived here were called Mexicans.

The Aztecs lived scattered across Mexico, but the geographical with the highest density of Aztecs was definetly Tenochtitlan, now Mexico City.
