From Africa, according to current theories. In fact, every human being on earth is descended from the first humans who came out of Africa starting roughly 100,000 years ago. There is substantial genetic evidence, still coming in, supporting the general migratory patterns that indicate Africa as the likely origin of humankind. God created Adam , then Eve, and from this first couple the entire human race is a decendent. (Gen. 1:26-27; 2:7, 18, 21-23) There is no definitive answer, there are only theories. Perhaps the two most popular theories are the Theory of Evolution and the Theory of Creation. The Theory of Evolution is the mainstream scientific explanation. It says humans evolved from an ancestor common to both man and to the apes we know today in a gradual process. It is a popular myth that mankind evolved from apes. This ancestor is sometimes called the "missing link". There is still much debate within the scientific community concerning the Theory of Evolution, so it is still just a theory. Creationism says there is a God who created the earth and humans as described in The Bible in Genesis. This is a popular belief among Christians. There are many scientists who are Creationists, and many Christians who are Evolutionists. One should consider each theory on one's own and make an informed decision as to which to believe.
