After Pharaoh freed the Israelites, they were pursued by the Egyptians, who sought to recapture them as they left Egypt. The Egyptians, led by Pharaoh, caught up to the Israelites at the Red Sea, where they were ultimately defeated when Moses parted the waters, allowing the Israelites to escape and the Egyptian army to be drowned. Thus, it was the Egyptians who first attempted to recapture the Israelites after their liberation.

the Exodus experience is a time (biblical) that Moses freed the isrealites. That is just the main gidst of it. well aleast that is what we have been learing in my eight grade social studies class.

The first five times, Pharaoh hardened his heart of his own free will and said No to Moses. The next five times, God hardened Pharaoh's heart and forced him to say No to Moses. Then, after the killing of the first born, Pharaoh said Yes to Moses. Then God hardened Pharaoh's heart and Pharaoh chased after Moses and Pharaoh found himself either in the Sea of Reeds or at the edge of the Sea of Reeds watching his soldiers drown and Moses and the freed people on the other side getting away. The reason God hardened Pharaoh's heart and took away his free will, was to teach him a lesson about being a tyrant and throwing all those male slave children into the Nile River to drown.

Another, the Nile River's water turned to blood, finally God sent an angel to kill every firstborn son in every Egyptian family. (This one persuaded the pharaoh.) Weeping over his own dead son, the pharaoh gave in. Moses began to lead the Hebrews out of Egypt. Soon, the pharaoh changed his mind. After prosper Judaism was formed however, the pharaoh of Egypt didn't like how many Israelites were living in Egypt with fear of them rebelling and taking control and the Israelites were enslaved by Egypt. After asking the pharaoh to release his people and the pharaoh saying no bad fortune was given and later the Israelites were freed a man named Moses was responsible he then lead Israelites back to their land of Canaan taking many, many years in what is now known as the Exodus
