Only God saves mankind, never a man. God led, protected, and punished as necessary His Congregation of Israel.

The Israelites were becoming strong in Egypt. Fearful about this, the pharaoh turned them into slaves, but God heard their cries for freedom. He sent Moses He would send him to the pharaoh so Moses can free the Hebrews. Moses spoke with the pharaoh, only to be rejected. God became angry with the pharaoh, so he sent 10 terrible plagues into Egypt. One included insects called locusts devouring the Egyptian crops. Another, the Nile River's water turned to blood, finally God sent an angel to kill every firstborn son in every Egyptian family. (This one persuaded the pharaoh.) Weeping over his own dead son, the pharaoh gave in. Moses began to lead the Hebrews out of Egypt. Soon, the pharaoh changed his mind. The Egyptian Army chased after the Hebrews and nearly caught up at the edge of the Red Sea.

The Hebrews followed Moses. when the Egyptians tried to follow, the water flooded over the army, drowning the soldiers. The Hebrews escaped
