Chand Bawadi is on the eastern boundary of Bijapur, Rajistan India.
The Bawadi means tank. In the 16 century Ali Adil Shah built a large water tank for the ever growing population. The grandeur complex around it mainly housed the maintenance staff although members of the royal family occasionally used it for recreation. It was named after his wife Chand Bibi.
