Closed Sun. and Mon. Initially this center will accept: * Aluminum foil * Aluminum and steel food and beverage cans - Please rinse lightly. Labels are okay. * Cell phones and pagers * Clothing - used * Corrugated cardboard - Please break boxes down. * Glass food and beverage containers - No caps please. Rinse lightly. Labels are okay. * Household items - small * Magazines - Catalogs are okay, too! * Newspaper - No plastic bags please! * Office paper * Paperboard * Phone books * Rechargeable batteries * Scrap metal * Toner/inkjet cartridges * PETE No. 1 plastic containers - such as those used for soft drinks, liquor, water, sports drinks, salad dressing, cooking oils, shampoo, window cleaner, mouthwash, etc. Rinse lightly. No caps please. * HDPE No. 2 plastic containers with a neck - such as milk, juice, detergent and bleach bottles. Rinse lightly. No caps please. * Center DOES NOT accept: yogurt containers, margarine tubs, automotive product bottles such as those from motor oil and gas treatments, or bottles which contained hazardous materials, such as pesticides or herbicides. For a complete list of what can/can't be recycled, visit Bridging the Gap, a non-profit group who operates the center.
