The Pompeii collection is primarily located at the National Archaeological Museum of Naples in Italy, which houses a vast array of artifacts, frescoes, and sculptures recovered from the ancient city of Pompeii. Additionally, some items can be found in other museums and institutions around the world, but the most significant and extensive collection remains in Naples.

Yes, horses were used in Pompeii during the time of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Archaeological evidence has revealed that horses were an integral part of daily life in Pompeii, used for transportation, agriculture, and entertainment. The remains of horses have been found among the ruins of Pompeii, indicating their presence at the time of the eruption.
The loaded gaming devices that were found in the Ruins of Pompeii were dice. They were weighted to fix the result.
good for yo face ]
In Pompeii, approximately 1,100 animal remains have been discovered during excavations, including dogs, horses, and other livestock. Most of these animals died from the volcanic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, likely due to the intense heat and ash. Their remains provide insight into the daily life and practices of the people living in the ancient city.

It is not possible to make the same kind of casts at Herculaneum as Fiorelli made in Pompeii. In Pompeii, the ash fallout settled around bodies then hardened, creating a cavity in the shape of the body. Herculaneum experienced different conditions to Pompeii in the eruption; it was covered in a thick layer of hot volcanic material sometimes described as 'mud' which did not harden around the shape of the bodies in the same way as the ash did in Pompeii. So the remains that have been found in Herculaneum have been skeletons, (remembering that of course in Pompeii a skeleton is inside the plaster cast, and many skeletons were also found there that were not cast).Interestingly, the casting technique is today being used to make a modern cast of the actual remains; these can be displayed without the issue of whether human remains should be viewed. Some of the skeletons of Herculaneum from the beachfront have been recently cast in this way for display purposes.See 'Pompeii & Herculaneum: Interpreting the Evidence' by Dr Brian Brennan and Dr Estelle Lazer.
