Ireland is Neutral

In the past, their was a series of public outcries, following small conflicts. The Easter day rising was a start of a revolution against the British. In 1921, signed a treaty in which Ireland became a free-state, a dominion of the British empire. allot of Irish did not like this, so they had a very, very, bloody civil war. This lead to the republic of Ireland which maintained a neutral basis in the terms of military. And no longer part of the British empire.

Ironicaly: enemies are the British, and its self (jkjk), in terms, America is quote an "ally" according to the US- Ireland Alliance , which mean Irish are one of the biggest contributors to the US, and an ally, so if Ireland gets attacked by, i don't know, the British (never will happen), the US. would help Ireland. but Ireland will not fight a war such as Iraq.

Britain is no longer an enemy of Ireland, but if your Irish, you probably hate Britain, and north Ireland used tried to revolt true, as Ireland always wanted north Ireland to join the republic.
