The term "White City" is commonly used to refer to several locations around the world, but one of the most notable is Tel Aviv, Israel, known for its Bauhaus architecture painted in white. Another prominent example is Jodhpur, India, often called the "Blue City" but also referred to as the "White City" due to its whitewashed buildings. Additionally, cities like Athens and parts of the coastal region of Tunisia also carry the nickname. Each of these places has unique architectural features and cultural significance contributing to their "White City" designation.
