All of these individuals listed above are selected not by the Governor who must at least try to oversee the big picture but by the direct vote of the electorate. It is chaos gone mad. And * The Secretary of State who is appointed by the Governor but must be approved by the 30 member State Senate. (This system was set into place in order to keep the Governor's power in check and has worked quite nicely in that regard,)
