Trucks are allowed on Chicago streets EXCEPT for Boulevards.
I just called the City of Chicago, who connected me with the Chicago Police. A pick up truck can be driven downtown, with the exception of King Dr., any of the boulevards, and not on Lake Shore Drive.
On avenues, streets, boulevards, roads, ect...
YES, boulevard is a noun, a common, singular noun.
Louis Sullivan from Chicago
A Blvd, short for boulevard, is a wide and often landscaped street typically designed for both vehicular traffic and pedestrians. Boulevards often feature trees, decorative elements, and may include bike lanes or walking paths, creating a more pleasant urban environment. They are commonly found in urban areas and can serve as major thoroughfares or scenic routes. Boulevards often enhance the aesthetic appeal of a city and promote social interaction.
Some roads are called boulevards because the term traditionally refers to wide streets that are often lined with trees and designed for leisurely travel. Boulevards typically serve as major thoroughfares in urban areas and may include features such as medians, sidewalks, and landscaped areas. The word originates from the French term for a fortified city wall, which over time evolved to describe a pleasant, open street in a city.
I believe Chicago or Michigan.. either one-

Havana has a grand boulevard, the Malecón, influenced by Spanish colonial urban planning. The Malecón was designed along the lines of boulevards found in Spanish cities to enhance the city's beauty, provide a space for leisurely walks, and help regulate ocean waves.
