He was pictured as a man with the head of a "Seth-animal" (No one knows for sure what animal it was supposed to be) He represented anything that threatened harmony in Egypt. He was the brother of Osiris & Isis, and the brother /husband of Nepthys. He killed his brother Osiris then battled his nephew Horus to be ruler.
