She was extremely important to the black rights and she led the way for the Civil Rights Movement. Without her, the NAACP would not have been created, many years of campaigning against lynching would not have taken place, and many black people would still be in a state of silence and worry about what the future held.

She was a pioneer in the Civil Rights Movement along with two others (Du Bois, Bucker T Washington being the main other pioneering people) and without her, it would mean a slower start to an improvement for black peoples lives in america.

In a short statement; If you consider the Civil rights movement is of strong importance, which many do, you would definitely say that Ida B wells was of great importance.
