Sovereignty is a significant concern for the people of Hawaii due to the historical context of their annexation by the United States in 1898, which many Hawaiians view as illegal and unjust. The desire for sovereignty reflects a longing for self-determination and recognition of their cultural identity, rights, and land. Many Native Hawaiians advocate for greater autonomy or even independence to reclaim their governance and preserve their heritage. This movement highlights ongoing issues related to colonization, economic disparity, and environmental stewardship in the islands.
popular sovereignty allows for the people to choose where they stand on the subject and Frederick believed that the people would vote for no slavery

The annexation of Hawaii by the United States in 1898 was met with mixed feelings among Hawaiians. Many Native Hawaiians opposed the takeover, feeling it undermined their sovereignty and culture. However, some local business interests and settlers supported annexation, believing it would bring economic benefits. The complex emotions surrounding this historical event continue to influence discussions about Hawaiian identity and sovereignty today.

No most northerners did not like popular sovereignty because it violated the Missouri compromise. The South was in favor of popular sovereignty because it allowed the people to decide if slavery would be allowed in a new territory.
Under popular sovereignty, the residents of the territory would ultimately decide whether slavery would be allowed. This principle meant that the people living in a particular territory would determine their own laws and institutions, including the decision on the legality of slavery.
People think it is a major concern mainly because it "IS" a major concern for those of us who would like to keep breathing the oxygen in earths atmosphere, and for those who would like their grand children to have free oxygen available via the earths biosphere.
Because in Hawaii there was a lot of Japanese people so they thought that some of them told the Japanese people in Japan when the battleships and planes would be there so then the Japanese people attack then and there.
in 2009 there were 3,000,000,000,367 employed. jk
I think you mean "live" and in that case, the answer would be Oahu. Honolulu is in Hawaii, which is the capital and biggest city, so therefore naturally it is more populated. The other islands are mostly local and native Hawaiian people, where as Honolulu has a lot of people who have moved to Hawaii from the mainland, or are students attending the University of Hawaii, or are people in the military staying on the giant bases there.
hawaii has the largest airport.so i would take hawaii as the place for research.
