Take a stroll in Centro Historico. This is the name for the old city. It has cobblestone streets and historic buildings. Another must see is the Faro Jewish Heritage Centre. There is a cemetery and museum at the Centre.

Just outside of Faro you will find the Palace de Estoi. You can walk around the grounds and check out the formal gardens. The architecture is from the 19th century.
