Yes you can, you will need to bring your expired passport, your Cedula(if you don't have one like me, you have to get a parent to write you a letter saying that you turned 18 outside of Guatemala and get them to add a photocopy of their Cedula) and you will also need a no older than a year old Birth Certificate.... I know its a pain I'm going through the process my self.... This is what the Guatemalan Embassy is Canada is requesting anyway, I would highly recommend finding the embassy where you live to get a list of docs that you will need just in case its different...
Good Luck!
