As you open KML feeds new placemarks are often added to your saved places panel. Over time you may end up with 100's or 1000's of places and overlays often crowding the map. These can be deleted (right-mouse click and select Delete) or unchecked to hide.

Note in many cases the saved places is the full KML content for the resource and not simply a "bookmark" or network link to the file on the network so the saved places file can get rather large. This slows down starting and closing Google Earth.

How do you make something not exist on Google Chrome?

I guess it depends on what you are trying to banish from existence. If it is something simple like your browsing history, then you can clear the cache. If you want to get rid of a bookmark or a tab, those can be deleted or closed. If you are trying to call something up on Google Chrome and then making said thing disappear off the internet though... probably won't work.

How do you get rid of something you searched for on Google?

Well, the first thing you do is delete your history, you can do this by (for Google Crome) pressing the button that looks like a spanner and pressing 'Delete browsing data' For a Mac go up the top and press 'History' 'Clear history.' Then you need to get rid of AutoFill, which will keep reminding you of what you searched. If you don't know how to do this go onto the 'Help' section.
