As you open KML feeds new placemarks are often added to your saved places panel. Over time you may end up with 100's or 1000's of places and overlays often crowding the map. These can be deleted (right-mouse click and select Delete) or unchecked to hide.
Note in many cases the saved places is the full KML content for the resource and not simply a "bookmark" or network link to the file on the network so the saved places file can get rather large. This slows down starting and closing Google Earth.
You can't.
To get rid of one of the two double images on Google Earth, you can adjust the "View" settings. Try toggling the "3D Buildings" option off and on or adjusting the "Tilt" angle to see if that resolves the issue. Additionally, ensure that your graphics driver is updated, as outdated drivers can sometimes cause display problems. If the issue persists, restarting Google Earth or refreshing the imagery might help.
In Tools/Options/General menu there is a 'Show Startup Tips' option which you can uncheck.

I guess it depends on what you are trying to banish from existence. If it is something simple like your browsing history, then you can clear the cache. If you want to get rid of a bookmark or a tab, those can be deleted or closed. If you are trying to call something up on Google Chrome and then making said thing disappear off the internet though... probably won't work.
By not using any of it's products or services.
They can't. The only way to get rid of EVERYTHING that pollutes the Earth , they would have to get rid of all of the humans. We exist, therefore we pollute.
