On June 14, 2006 Google Maps was first launched, but it wasn't until 2007 that it was launched for mobile. Today, this site attracts millions of people looking to find routes to their next ideal location. Google Maps was first announced on February 8, 2005 and in June 2005, Google released the Google Maps API.
A person can use street maps by first searching for it. Then when they get to the correct webpage, they can enter an address into the box. A map will appear and show the location.
A person can install the Google Mail Application, Google Calendar and contact sync applications, Google Maps and Google Voice on their Blackberry phone.
The red circle in Google Maps indicates the location of the person you searched for. This feature is typically used when sharing your real-time location with others via Google Maps.

Analytics is a different service than Maps. Analytics allows a person to check on website activity and who is visiting. Maps lets you get driving directions and even walking directions.
Google Inc. Usually updates its digital maps yearly, including Google Earth and Google Maps.
One can only download Google Maps if their GPS is an "Android" i.e. a GPS bought from Google. If you have one of these then you can download Google Maps straight from "Google Mobile Maps".
Google clearly spells out what you can and cannot do with their products including Google Maps. Since maps and imagery change all the time, Google prefers websites link to an interactive Google Maps via the Google Maps API but there are instances where screenshots to Google Maps imagery is allowed given the rules are followed.
