You can but just know it will completely mess with your cycle and since you'll be dumping a huge amount of hormones into your body, expect to feel like you did whe you first started getting your period. I once took it two consecutive MONTHS and it made me bleed for slightly more than 2 weeks straight - and mine is usally only 3 days. I would strongly suggest getting a good form of birth control. I can't do pills, so I started with the NuvaRing. It's much easier to remember bcuz you only need to change it once every 3 weeks. In the face of not having insurance, I got implanon. It's a small flexible rod placed under the skin in your arm and works for *3 years.* it works by a) keeping you from ovulating and b) keeping the lining too thin to support fetilization should ovulation occur. I freakin love it. Didn't make me fat, moody, lose my sex drive or anything. In january, obama has changed the health program to make Birth Control free, along with your yearly exam. Something to consider so you can take one more stressful thing out of your life. Please be safe out there.

If you take the morning after pill and contiue to take the birth control pill is the birth control still effective for the rest of the month?

If you had missed a pill or been late with a pill, causing you to take the morning after pill, then you should use a back up method of birth control for the next seven days. If you didn't forget a pill or take a pill late, then I'm not sure why you took the morning after pill, but the birth control pill will still be effective even though you took the morning after pill. The morning after pill doesn't make the birth control pill less effective.

What if you take the morning after pill twice in six weeks?

maybe you should stop having sex. Seems like you're not too worried about getting pregnant since you've taken the pill twice and i can imagine that you're doing harm to your body since you've harmed a growing child inside of you not once, but twice.

Half a birth control pill twice a day instead of the usual whole pill?

I wouldn't recommend it. It wouldn't make sense at all when you can just take the whole pill at once. You're supposed to take the whole thing the same time everyday, so breaking it up twice a day would probably mess up the effectiveness of the pill.
