If the $5 note has a common blue seal it could go from $25.00 in very poor condition-tears,missing corners, much soiling, writing on bill... up to about $250.00 + if in brand new condition. If it is a red seal note it could go up to $750.00 + in new condition.
I was at the bank today in Luzerne, PA & John Lohman who works there is actively searching for a note from the bank if you want to sell it. Just do a search for the banks phone number on the internet.
