How do you get in the army choir?

The US Army Chorus and the Soldiers' Chorus of The US Army Field Band hold highly-competitive auditions only when positions are available. A bachelor's degree in music is preferred but not required; that being said, most members have advanced degrees in performance or music education.

To get into the army choir, you must first join the military. Once you have enlisted, you can express your interest in joining the choir and undergo an audition process. Meeting the required musical and vocal standards, as well as passing any additional military criteria, will determine your acceptance into the army choir.
