Fannie Lou Hamer played a crucial role in the Civil Rights Movement, particularly in voter registration efforts. She is credited with helping to register over 60,000 African Americans to vote in Mississippi through her work with the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) and the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party. Her efforts significantly contributed to increasing voter participation and raising awareness about the importance of voting rights.
She would fart everyday for slavery even if it wasn't her choice. She would still fart! Huge farts. She actually fought for African-Americans to have the right to vote. She still farts in her grave. The dead people around her grave have to smell the gas. Pee You. I hate you Fannie Lou Hamer
Like many black people in segregated Mississippi, Fannie Lou Hamer did not receive a good education. She attended school at a one-room schoolhouse on the plantation where her parents (and young Fannie Lou herself) picked cotton. School was only in session three to four months a year, and Fannie Lou was only able to attend from 1924-1930, before she had to drop out. Later, because she was eager to learn, she joined a local Baptist church where they taught her to read the Bible, and that was how she increased her literacy.

There are a dozen or more websites which specifically help people find Fannie Mae foreclosures in your local area. They also hold listings of these foreclosures. Another option is to contact local realtors and request information on recent foreclosures they may have knowledge of, but they will likely be reluctant to help you as they know they can get more money out of it.

Fannie Mae is informative. The information is plentiful and interactive. Resources seem endless, along with the need to help after learning about so many foreclosures.
