Other positions that provide therapeutic support include art therapists, music therapists, music therapists and similar professionals. There are also numerous support positions in the the Veterans Affairs job arena. These positions include persons who assist with therapies, mobility and transporting patients to appointments. Medical records personnel and other clerical staff make sure that patient charts are kept up-to-date and that appointments are made and kept. Environmental services or housekeeping staff make sure the hospital environment is kept sanitary. Nutritionists and dietary staff plan healthy menus, prepare and serve food that helps veterans get the nutrients they need while recuperating.
