There is no one source for all LARP questions; your best bet is to join a community forum. Shade's LARP List ( http://larplist.com ) has a fairly active forum site and international community; be warned that you will get many differing voices offering their input. The LARP hobby in America is devided/, and most LARPers will offer advice or answers to your question from the viewpoint of the LARP they play in.It has the effect of everyone telling you something different.I would suggest trying to word your questions in such a way so that the answer you get will be the most suited for what your needs are.Another avenue is to try and ask people that are specialists in a given field. Their answers tend to be more dead on. Look for LARP social networks ( http://larpspace.com , http://larpnetwork.ning.com ) and scan for local people near you that you can actually talk to in person about questions you may have. Many questions about the hobby are often answered by participation.Or you could just ask me. I am a LARP historian (I focus on Live Combat LARPs), and can give you a lot of general information as well as specifics. I am the Director of the Foamsmith's Guild of the LARP Alliance, and serve as the Chairman of the Board as well.Sincerely,Rick McCoyLARP Alliance, Inc.
