Our second President John Adams died of old age, at 91 years. There weren't any diagnosed health issues in that time. He was at his home surrounded by his family on July 4, 1826 also the 50th anniversary of American Independence. His dear friend and our third president Thomas Jefferson died the same day. They were the last surviving men of the second Continental Congress of 1775 and 1776.
