I don"t think Ted Kennedy was ever in the U.S. Army. There is no public record. John of course was a Naval Officer on PT Boats... somewhat oddly Kennedy is NOT ( I am speaking of John F, here, as a technical advisor in either of the two popular books about the P.T.l09 incident. One wonders. did it stand for Portable Typewriter rather Patrol, Torpedo ( later the Navy called them MTB"s motor torpedo boats) but that"s besides the point. Kennedy was still alive when BOTH books were published/
