Thomas Hobbes was neither a Democrat, OR a Republican. In fact, Sir Thommas Hobbes II, as he was better known, was raised in his home state of Transylvannia, where he was to live a life of servitude in a very large but but very cold mansion. It had a cold and dark setting all about, and it is the weather that coasts along the hillsided manner that the young Thomas Hobbes would learn quickly in matters of politics, earning him a place rite to the top of his local government in Transylvania, and as he would grow into adult-hood, a boarding school just 8oo miles northwest of his home city. After the preperatory and educated boarding school/ house, he would go on to develop his beliefs along with Classical studies in further years, thus eventually landing himself a role within a firmly bound circle of competing and cooperating minds. These men of fine brandy and age old Bourbon would speak as the drank the various selections of Cognac, and speaking of matters within this most exclusive group. One would say , "it is to I that the role shall be played of the Hobbesian pesimist," to which his friend sitting unto an opposite corner proclaimed, "and so, my dear Thomas Hobbes, in a show of respect to your ingenious plan of taking on this role as the Conservative, and grandstanding of political figures, I too shall choose take to choosing in this role of sociological leaders. It is I who will be the Optimistic Progressive, looking so effortlessly 'towards the West as they say' and their backs to the sun as it rises at the start of the Day." And so, then it was made certain, that these two individuals proclaming an alleigance to their own respective but opposing groups were to unveil the grand plot: To whom will mankind pay their respective allegiances to these opposing yet symbiotically existing entities. One Conservative, one democratic. One a 'pessimist' and one an 'optomist.' One cannot survive without the other. This is what Thomas Hobbes had to offer the historical catalog of political prevelance, even irreverance in terms of impact by political thought. Thankyou
