You can be a Navy SEAL member when you meet following requirements: * be a male active-duty member of the U.S. Navy * be 28 * possess uncorrected vision no worse than 20/40 in one eye and 20/70 in the other eye correctable to 20/20 through contacts or glasses (corrective surgery is also possible), there are waivers for colorblindness * be a U.S. citizen * pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB). Officers have to have completed an Officers' Commissioning program, which in most cases require a bachelor's degree. There are a very few opportunities for those without degrees to obtain a commission of any type.
