His name was Lee Harvey Oswald, and he owned, and unfortunately used, a 6.5 mm caliber Carcano rifle, and a .38 revolver. The rifle he used to try and kill General Walker (fortunately Walker was only injured) and months later he used it to kill Kennedy, injure Governor Connally, and injure also a bystander named James Tague. Then after abandoning the rifle, he went to where he boarded when not at home, got his handgun, and used it to kill Officer J. D. Tippett, who pulled over to talk to Oswald soon after his description was radioed to the police. Then he hid in a theater from the police, and tried to shoot the arresting officers when they showed up.
I have no idea how come most of that underlined itself, or how to make it revert. Sorry.
Lee Harvey Oswald
Yes, it did.
Lee Harvey oswald was a main suspect because a witness had seem him that very day carrying a long object coverd in a white sheet into the school deporstry buliding and lee Harvey oswald said it was a rug for his mum but then was later seen at the window holdin a gun :S
John F Kennedy Died November 22,1963 in Dallas,Texas from a gun shot by Lee Harvey Oswald.
Yes because he was the only one that had a gun and the people right by him new that it was him
Lee Harvey Oswald purchased the rifle he used to assassinate President John F. Kennedy for $19.95. He acquired the weapon through a mail-order catalog in 1963. This rifle, a Mannlicher-Carcano, became infamous due to its association with the assassination.
The Warren Commission concluded that it was Lee Harvey Oswald acting alone, but many people believe that is not true. Even if Oswald shot Kennedy, there could have been some unknown co-conspirators or a second or third gunman. The truth is we will never know for certain who shot the gun or who all was involved in the killing. If you're asking this for a question on a school paper, then the answer you need to put is Lee Harvey Oswald.
Lee Harvey Oswald killed John F Kennedy. There may or may not have been others involved in the plot, however, Oswald fired the gun that killed Kennedy.
Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested at the Dallas theater after being dropped off by a light coloured station wagon with a gun rack later spotted at a service station on Davis street close to the theater,Deputy sheriff Roger Craig spotted Lee Harvey Oswald getting into the Nash on Dealey Plaza driven by Jack Ruby or Mac Wallace ,Lee arrived at the theater about 1300pm before Harvey Lee Oswald left his rooming house and officer Tippet was shot. Lee Harvey oswald was up stairs when Harvey entered the building followed later by the Dallas police,Harvey was arrested and escorted out of the front and and Lee the rear exit and hurried away after giving proof of his identy,Lee was later spotted out side a Mexican restaurant nearby in a red sports car. Both Oswalds are now dead and there bodies in the same grave in Rose Hill if iam wrong lets have some DNA Please understand the above is a joke, based on your calling Lee Harvey Oswald, "Harvey Lee Oswald". He is pretending there were two Oswalds running around (I am pretty sure Oswald's mother and brother Robert would have noticed another Oswald!). There is evidence of LHO taking a bus and a taxi, IIRC, but nothing about station wagons, or any proof that Ruby or Wallace did any such thing, or were in a position to. And when Oswald was exhumed, there was only one body found, of course. So to answer your real question with a real answer... he was arrested at the Texas Theater in Dallas.
There is no evidence to suggest that Lee Harvey Oswald was a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA). While Oswald was known to have an interest in firearms, particularly through his acquisition of a rifle, no records indicate he held NRA membership. His activities and affiliations were primarily focused on political beliefs and actions rather than organized gun rights advocacy.
Alone. No sign of help or a setup-- innocent people don't murder cops, and no bullet known to have been fired, came from any gun or any place other than Oswald's.
Lee Harvey Oswald was behind the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Oswald was a man who never fit in; no matter what he tried, he always ended up alienating himself from the "group". The likelihood that he could cooperate or coordinate this activity with another person or persons is very remote. He had the training, the skill, and the means to carry it out all by himself. Most of all, after all of his failures, he had the motivation to make this grand gesture to show the world that he had what it takes.
