It goes on the left side, right below the Air Force Meritorious Unit Medal. According to ARMY regs, it goes on the right side. In the Air Force, we do not wear

Medals on the right side besides instructor badges, etc... Usually, MPF won't know what to do with it, especially if it's not a 'high ops tempo' base. Based on personal experience though, it will get worked out.
