The winged liberty (Mercury) design was never used on a dollar coin, only on the dime from 1916 to 1945. If you have something larger than a dime and with no date it's not a coin. It's either a bullion piece or a "fantasy" item that replicates the Mercury design.
If it's a bullion piece it will have the silver content and purity marked somewhere on it. The current price of silver is about $17/oz so that would tell you its value.
If it doesn't have any silver content on it, it's probably just silver plated. You can always have it examined by an appraiser, but if it's not pure silver it's probably not worth more than a couple of dollars.
There are many large replica "coins" available. For example I have a "penny" that's about 100mm in diameter that cost about 3 bucks in a novelty shop, and serves as my coaster at work.
A 1921 Morgan Dollar has Lady Liberty on the obverse and an eagle with arrows in I'ts feet, on the reverse $30...A 1921 Peace Dollar has Lady Liberty on the obverse and a perched eagle with sun rays on the reverse..$100
The Liberty Dollar is worth One Dollar!
All Mercury Head dimes have the "W" it's the designers initial, Adolph A. Weinman he also designed the Liberty Walking Half dollar.
All Peace dollars have the same design. The difference between the 1921 Peace Dollar and the 1921 Morgan dollar is that Liberty looks completely different. In the more common 1921 Morgan dollar, Liberty wears a crown with the word "LIBERTY" on it, on the reverse of the Morgan dollar, there is an eagle with olive branches and arrows in its talons along with a wreath under it. On the Peace Dollar, Liberty looks like she has rays coming out of her head and on the reverse there is an Eagle sitting on a rock inscribed "PEACE", there is no wreath on the reverse.
There is no 1944 liberty dollar. There is a 1944 liberty walking half dollar. The average value of these is about 10-12 dollars.
It is impossible to say. Liberty is and has been featured on many US coins including the Peace Dollar, Morgan Dollar, Mercury Dime, Barber Dime, Barber Quarter, Barber Half Dollar, Walking Liberty Half Dollar, American Silver Eagle, American Gold Eagle, and many, many more. Most collectors will view the colorization of any US coin as damage and it will negatively impact value of the coin. But it is impossible to say without knowing what the coin is because there is a huge difference between, say, a Mercury dime and a Morgan Dollar.
No liberty dollar have been made since 1873.
The weight of a liberty half dollar is about 12.50 grams : ) : ) :0
There is no true Standing Liberty half dollar. They are properly called Walking Liberty half dollars. But if you are asked to buy a Standing Liberty half dollar you can be safe to assume that it is a Walking Liberty. Review the Standing Liberty quarter and see that the figure is in an obvious 'standing' stance whereas the Walking Liberty appears to have motion.
About a dollar if worn from circulation. $4 or $5 if uncirculated and depending on the mint mark. These coins are very often called "Mercury head" dimes because the winged cap worn by Lady Liberty resembles that worn by the god Mercury.
The coin is a Peace dollar not a Liberty dollar and retail values for circulated coins are $16.00-$20.00
It's not a mint mark. It's the monogram of A. A. Weinman, who designed both the "Mercury" dime and Walking Liberty half dollar.
