It was made by Britishers and followed by Indian Air Force... No changes though
they dont discriminate between war or peace desertion. Policy was made by britishers and stays in effect... one of the top Officer says Airman can commit suicide but desertion is intolerable... I think on the name of discipline its too much, if desertion happens during war yes there has to be strict consequences but peace desertion should be treated with humanity.
Indian Air Force follows the policy made by Britishers and after that there are no significant changes... Since its the issue only for Airman nobody has any interest to raise it but its inhuman... Its time to align the policy and make rational policy. 10th pass Aiman may be given discharge so that he is not forced to Desert and become criminal for life...
Jackson's Indian Policy laid the groundwork for how future presidents often dealt with Indians--by force.
u da silly goose rite, u forgot to use da capital question mark
The second great Indian removal was a policy in the United States to relocate Indian tribes. This was often done by force or trickery.
Policy need to chnaged to accomodate genuine cases.
Is policy No. 12,862,551 still in force?
I think its becuase still we follow the Desertion Policy that was dicatated by Britishers that was also in the time of when there sued to be Wars all the time... It is been 40 years India has not fought any war but noone is bothered about Deserters (Peace deserters who desert due to acute domestic problem). Deserter Aimen are also somebodies son, brother, father etc... Its time that government revive the policy at least peace deserter must get rehabilitataed.
