There were 4 groups of men who didn't have to go to war in the British Army. These were the sick men, the old men, the mentally challenged men, and the physically disabled men.
No, the U.S. does not have the Selective Service System used to draft men into the armed forces. You do however have the register when you turn 18. The U.S. military is all volunteer.
They can usually go from about $2 to more than $400, if you really want to go all out.
Walk into the nearest army recruiting office and say: "I want to enlist in the army".
I depends on what you want to do. If you want major adrenaline important missions go marines or navy seal or army rangers (but only if you really are willing to work for it because those all require exhaustive (literally and physically) training. If you just want normal soldier stuff go navy or army or national guard (which is still technically army). If you want stuff to be a little safer (in a perfect world anyway) go airforce. I personally say go Army all the way but that's just me...pick whatever fits you best talk to people that you know in each branch...see what they say
Because you don't want to is reason enough not to.
heck yes if the boy you love does not go to the army cause you dont want him to then he really loves you and i mean alot
Because they are easy and will give these men what they want.

Men (that are not military) were forced to go to war only when conscription was ruled in parliament.
