Why does everyone hate Barack Obama?

Disclaimer: I take no stand in Politics and take no real side, but Bush is incorrectly bashed.

Everyone in America seemed to hate Bush because of a number of things including the 9/11 attacks, Hurricane Katrina, and the War on Terror. They also make fun of his speech, accent, and his logic.

Most of the people who despise Bush are Democrats, as Bush is a Republican. These Bush-Haters (they will be referred to as the Antis) claim that he responded in the wrong way to 9/11. Personally, I believe he responded in a as best of a way as anyone else could have responded when faced with the worst terrorist attack in US history.

The Antis also claimed Bush was a bad President for his response to Katrina. They claimed the response was so delayed because half the National Guard was in Iraq, when they should not have been. I would like to ask them this: "Would you rather Bush have done nothing about the terrorist issues, and worried more about domestic problems? The what do you think the terrorists would have done?"

Another "problem" with Bush was that he was a "warmonger" for going to war with Iraq. His war against terror helped put an end to terrorist threats. It's been 9 years since the attacks, and there have not been any other domestic attacks since.

Also, no one should claim Bush was a bad president for his speech, or accent, for that is discrimination, and goes against every Liberal idea in the book.

Those who wonder how Bush could have ever taken office when he is "so stupid and speaks like an 8 year old", (as I have seen said before on many forums), should realize that he was ELECTED INTO OFFICE BY THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. So therefore, you should stop bashing someone you voted to lead your country.

I am not a Democrat nor a Republican, and I have no public policy regarding politics, but I stand for Bush, for he stood strong when our nation needed it the most.

Some people may think what the writer wrote below, but wouldn't any president faced with 3,000 people dying in their homeland by terrorists respond that way? The fact that George Bush used the emotions of the American people to invade Iraq is what makes him wrong. That plus what he's done to make the rich richer and the poor poorer, is what makes him a horrible president. He, like most Republicans only cater to corporate greed not serve the Americans that they were put in office by. It makes me question whether it's George Bush I personally don't like or the genius voters that put those types of politicians in office. Has he really helped this country by allowing even more unfair foreign trade acts, spending billions on an unnecessary war in Iraq, or giving tax breaks to the wealthiest that are surely putting us Americans back to work. If that theory worked, wouldn't we be already heading out of this recession, instead of going further back into it?

Most say that they don't like George Bush because they are naive and ignorant, or they just want to have peace with our enemies, like inviting them to your house for a tea party....( in my opinion, I think that's what SOME people think about...)

The reason why they hate or dislike George is because they think George caused the war.

WRONG!! Think about it, if some criminal kills your family, most likely you would either kill them or get them back by putting them in jail. We would call it revenge and justice , or one of the other. In some ways, most people (liberals, democrats, conservatives, and republicans) think what George did was an act of bravery and justice. I mean that's what I strongly believe in.

Then again, think about it, ever since the war has happened, we hadn't had attacks in years and there will never be another terrorist attack, thanks to Bush. If he never had declared war, man... America would be destroyed. They wanted to have war with us... and we accepted there little silly favor, and so far we have pretty much have won the war.

So yeah, that's a pretty dumb reason why they don't like George Bush, I mean, helloooo people!! He was doing a big favor for our country and that favor was to PROTECT AMERICA!!

I don't know, but people usually don't know US history and that's really sad that in our generation, they have forgotten our father founders of America and who created America...

Oh yeah, in case some people don't know, about 4 jetliners nearly killed 3,000 people, those stupid Islamic-extremists wanted to play with us. We don't play like that.

They've woken the sleeping bear, and they're going to pay for it.

What is the purpose of the American media???? Some would say it is spread information to the general public or to be the protector of the America consumer. However, I believe both opinions would inconsistent with the media's main goals. When every you receiving information CNN, CSPAN, or maybe MSNBC you have to remember these companies main goal is to make money. Coming back to the question "Why does the media hate President Bush". Not everyone hates President Obama, such generalizations are always wrong. Each individual, regardless of what group or cubbyhole you are assigning them to in generalized thinking, is unique. Broad-sweeping generalizations are the basis of bigotry and racism. Broad-sweeping generalizations are caused by ignorance. Education is the bigotry killer. Make sure everyone you know gets an education and the world will be a better place. Be sure to get your formal education to erase ignorance.

Not everyone hates the former president, but, in general, those who dislike him do so because they believe he and his administration lied about the reason we went to war in Iraq.
