Oh, dude, the Atlantic Ocean is to the east of the 13 colonies. Like, it's not rocket science, it's just basic geography. So, if you ever need to find the 13 colonies, just head east until you hit water. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
Pennsylvania was the only one of the original 13 colonies that did not touch the Atlantic Ocean.

Pennsylvania is the only state that was in the original 13 colonies that does not border the Atlantic Ocean. Vermont does not border the Atlantic Ocean, but it was not one of the original 13 colonies.
This is in reference to shoreline of lakes, ponds, and rivers, obviously not the ocean, as Oklahoma is landlocked.
