The only $1 coin issued in 1915 was a commemorative gold piece struck in honor of the Panama Pacific Exposition. As of 12/2009 values range from $400 to $590 for a circulated one, while uncirculated specimens retail for $680 (MS60) to $3100 (MS66)

Please take another look at your coin. It can't be a dollar because no US dollars were made from 1905 to 1920 inclusive. And it's either not a Walking Liberty half or not from 1915 because the Walking Liberty design was first minted in 1916.

its actually the other way around. the value of the us dollar effects interest rates. the lower the us dollar is worth, the lower the interest rate
