Please check your coin again. 1921-dated Peace dollars were only struck at Philadelphia.
If your coin has a "D" above the "DO" in "DOLLAR" and the eagle's wings are outstretched, you have a Morgan dollar rather than a Peace dollar. There's more information at the question "What is the value of a 1921 Morgan silver dollar?"
Hi, a 1928-D Peace Dollar is worth $14.00 :)
A 1922-D Peace Dollar in very good condition (VG8) is worth: $20; if its mint state is MS60, its value increases to: $35.00
1921 Morgan dollars unless they have an exceptional strike and are virtually perfect generally sell for about their silver melt value, about $25 at current melt value.
The New Orleans Mint closed in 1909 so what you have is almost certainly a coin minted in Denver with a "D" mint mark. Please see the related questions for more, depending on whether you have a Morgan or a Peace dollar.
No D's in1928,but the S runs from $35.00 to $65.00 in circulated grades

In 1921 two different dollars were made both dated 1921. The most common is a Morgan dollar, some do have D or S mintmarks on the back of the coin just above the word DOLLAR. The other coin is a PEACE dollar that has this word on the back of the coin and will NOT have any mintmarks.
1921 was the last year for Morgans, so 1922 is a Peace dollar. It's worth about $27.

The value of a 1921-D (Denver Mint) coin can vary significantly based on its type and condition. For example, a 1921-D silver dollar (Morgan dollar) typically ranges from about $30 to over $100, depending on its grade. Coins in uncirculated condition or with unique features may command higher prices. For an accurate valuation, it's advisable to consult a coin dealer or reference a coin pricing guide.
This is the final year that the Peace Dollar was minted. The value in decent condition is about $40. I'm not sure what the "D" means. This coin was minted in Philadelphia and Sacremento only. My source doesn't indicate that they were minted in Denver (D)
The "P" mint mark was first used on $1 coins starting in 1979, so a 1921 silver dollar couldn't have that letter - only D or S. In addition Philadelphia struck both Morgan and Peace dollars with that date so it's important to know which one you have. Morgan dollars have an eagle with outstretched wings on the reverse side while Peace dollars have an eagle with folded wings and the word PEACE. There's more information at the Related Questions.
