Some of the things that Native Americans received as a result of the Columbian Exchange are as follows:

  • Horses
  • Firearms (beginning with muskets)
  • Textiles to use for clothing and ornamentation (although many South American Indigenous Peoples, such as the "Inca," already were weaving their own textiles at least a century before the arrival of the Europeans).
