Half dollars carried a picture of Miss Liberty from 1794 to 1947 and still have the word LIBERTY on them so the term "liberty half dollar" is far too broad to give an accurate answer. Please post a new question with the coin's date. If you can find a mint mark letter include that information as well.

Not enough information. ALL American coins carry the word Liberty, and in 1924 at more than 1 half-dozen denomations carried a portrait of Miss Liberty. Please post a new and more specific question including the coin's denomination. If you can find a mint mark (a small D or S) on the coin, provide that detail as well.
Mint marks are on the back of the coins, it's under the wreath on $1 coins and the eagle on $2.50 & $5.00 coins.
