don't know
im not sure about it so yeah
there was no segregation and freedom could thus be ensured far easier. check john Locke's 110th amendment of constitution and consider the whole idea of property, in british America slaves were merely property, in latin America slaves were people.
i have know idea
Some would say there wasn't a 'need' as such, it was the leaders that organised the shipping of slaves that influenced the idea that the people of north america needed someone to do the dirty work, because black people in that time were seen as less then the white, they believed that they 'needed' someone to do the cleaning cooking ect. more and more people became influenced and greedy so demand (need) for slaves grew :) hope this helped :)
People are greedy. They wanted money, and so they SOLD slaves. However, slaves were brought to America by accident. As the idea was introduced, it grew more popular, because people are lazy. PS Take care of the Earth. Its the only home we've got!
Slaveholders continually indoctrinated their slaves with the idea of the God-given supremacy of whites. However, many slave songs and sermons showed hope that God would free them from slavery.

There were MANY woman slaves. Where did you get the idea that there weren't?
whos emily and who the hell is damon. In other words i have no idea
Yes that was the whole idea of having slaves to provide free labour.
The British came to Africa, and traded slaves for sugar. (Sugar was rare in Africa, the kings traded men and women for it.) Then the British took the slaves away on ships, sailed them to America, and sold them. The South took more interest than the North (South had more farms, North more factories.) in the slaves. "Ooh, someone else can do the work for me!" was the basic idea. And so whites owned slaves.
John Adams rationale consisted of republicanism and a supporter of the independence of Great Britain from America. He opposed the idea of slavery and made it his lifelong goal to not own slaves.
