Because! She was the first women pilot to fly across the Atlantic Ocean as a passenger, and later the first woman to fly this route solo. She had determination even when other people said, a women can't do this or yada yada yada... She proved them wrong, and did what people thought she can not do. She didn't let those discourage her from doing her dream.

She is a great example of a stand for women to become pilots. And she never gave up she awlways was happy and ready for an expedition.
