Jack Atlas uses a variety of Decks throughout the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's series. However, they all tend to focus upon the "Beatdown" strategy, often using overwhelming offensive tactics and revolving around Red Dragon Archfiend's offensive effect. This is used in the anime to reflect his playstyle against Yusei's, who tends to play defensively and uses protective card effects. Jack Atlas' trump card, Red Dragon Archfiend is the opposite of Yusei's strategy as it allows the destruction of all of the opponent's Defense Position monsters. Yusei's trump card, Stardust Dragon is the opposite of Red Dragon Archfiend as it allows protection against destruction effects.
