Yes, there are several games similar to "Build-a-Lot" that focus on city-building and resource management. Titles like "SimCity," "Cities: Skylines," and "Anno 1800" offer strategic gameplay where players can design and manage their own cities. Additionally, "LEGO Builder's Journey" and "Townscaper" provide creative building experiences with unique aesthetics. These games capture the essence of construction and resource allocation found in "Build-a-Lot."

play a lot of games until you get tired
Well they build a lot of stuff like computers
Some games like Roblox include Blockland, Lego Universe, and Minecraft. Blockland is a brick building game a lot like Roblox. Lego universe in an MMORPG where you build stuff and hang out with friends just like you do on Roblox. In Minecraft you can build with blocks and try to survive in the wilderness with monsters that come out in the dark and try to kill you, or you can just build in a different game mode if you don't want to worry about dying.
Build-a-lot happened in 2007.

Well, personally I really like the latest Build-A-Lot 4 power source myself. Same great game play as the other Build-A-Lot games but includes a new twist by adding power / electricity to the picture. If you want to see more of the game, there is a full video walkthrough series over at Chewy Central (see direct link down in the related links section of the answer) where you can see each level and see if you would like this game.
