yes and no. no one will want to just give you an account to play on, but if your lucky someone nice enough will buy a gift code for you and send it to your email, then you can redeem that code on minecraft.net to make your account premium so you can play yourself. I suggest you just buy the game. its cheap and is really worth the money. but if no one will get you a code just download the minecraft launcher from minecraft.net and then it will download a single player only version where you can mod and texture pack it, but you cant join multiplayer.

Shortly after buying there gift code found on the minecraft homesite, they will receive a message in their inbox that has the gift code.
