If you have it on PC, there is a mod that lets you turn into the high dragon and the arch demon, along with many other creatures, like golems, blight wolves, and many more

However, if you play it on the PS3 then no you can not turn into any type of dragon.

Or any other creature for that matter. Unless you are a mage and know shape shifting.

Or you can be a Ranger which allows you to turn into animals such as a bear, a wolf, and the swarm of insects.

You can have a Mabari War Hound you already have on if your a human noble if your not you can get one at ostagar

if you talk to the kennel master he will give you a quest after finishing it and finishing your main task at ostagar as you head into lothering you will run into the dog

No, unfortunately you cannot ride on a dragon in the game. You get to kill a few dragons, like when you have to face Flemmeth, or the Andraste occult during your Haeven mission, and then you also have the Arch Demon at the end.

It would have been fun to have been able to ride on dragons, but the game also says, while loading, Grey Wardens used to fly on Griffins, but Griffins were wiped out.

Still, it's an awesome game!!
